Beate Biebricher

Was born in Heilbronn on October 29th, 1965. She attended the Hiberniaschool in Herne, where she received intensive artistic education and training. Her first works were exbibited in 1981. During travels to Ireland, Scotland, Italy and Greece Beate Biebricher experienced the antique and historic centres of art. She experimented various technics searching fr her very own laws of artistlc creativity. But only after having passed her trades test did she decide to make art her profession. From 1983 te 1985 she lived in the USA in order to study lifedrawing and painting with oil pastels at the New York School of Art. From 1987 to 1991 she studied Eurythmy in Hamburg and furthered her studies in history of arts, aesthetics, poetry and music. Today she works in her studio in Dornbusch, a small village on the river Elbe in Kehdingen in northern Germany.
